Sales tax

Type your tax rate in Sales Tax (%), for example 12 for 12 percent. Type 0 if you do not charge tax.

Tax is added only to items that are marked Taxable. See Add an item to sell. So you can sell taxed and untaxed goods side by side.

Good to know

Quid adds the tax on top of the item price. If your shelf prices already include tax, either set the tax rate to 0, or enter your item prices without tax.
