Where to find it Open this screen in Quid POS

Switch it on
- Go to .

- Click Update Settings.
From now on:
- When you click Start Register, Quid asks for the starting balance: the cash in the drawer before any sale.
- When you click Stop Register, Quid asks for the ending balance: the cash in the drawer at closing.

Go to . Choose the register and the dates. Each line shows a day's starting and ending amounts, and who started and closed the register.
Does it add up?
Ending cash should equal:
starting cash + cash sales − change given − cash you took out
To find the day's cash sales, go to , choose Today, and set Payment Mode to CASH.
Tip
NextCommission reports →Start each day with the same float, for example 100.00 in small notes and coins. The sums are easier, and a difference is obvious.
